I didn't blog yesterday because I had the blues again. What's up with this emotional roller coaster? I pretty much stayed in bed all day because I didn't have the physical or mental energy to my boring routine. 8 am protein, 9 am water, 10 am protein, 11 am water and calcet chews...you get the picture. (my multivitamin was in there somewhere). Anyway, yesterday was BORING.
Today started out okay. Nothing special. Thank God for another day! It's just good to have LIFE. So I wont complain. I will "mention" my pain today though. Last night, I got out of bed to go to the bathroom and apparently put too much abdominal muscle into it. Needless to say, I yelled out of pain. It was a rough "burning" pain. Well all day today, it remains but a dull burn. Hope I didn't rip anything. I'm finding it difficult to get up off my back and rolling off the bed. Something about that position/movement is causing that "normal" left side pain to be "abnormal" to me. When does it get better?
Other than that, let me tell you about my good news...I've been doing MUCH BETTER with my protein! The crystal light, water and unflavored Unjury has saved the day. I mix a different crystal light pack each day and it's cool and easy to get down. Today I even squirted a lil whipped topping and made it extra special since it's Friday and the rest of the world is probably amping up for the weekend. As for me...not so much. Just recovering!
One thing about this journey: you certainly get to weed out your fake friends from the real ones! If you're reading this and you get some kinda weird feeling in the pit of your stomach then you know who you are. SMILE
