This journey is not easy at all. I struggle everyday to find things that I can and like to eat. I know I need the nourishment but I'm just not interested in eating. So before I become bald headed and hunchbacked I decided today to "get it together".
I got up this morning with one thing on my mind...JESUS! I'm on a mission to be a new person inside and out. I haven't been to church in awhile so I felt the need to rekindle my relationship with God. He's the only one that can truly be there for me through this and everything else I face in life. I was hungry but it was more like "spiritual hunger" that I needed today.
I found it. I visited a church and loved it. The praise and worship was great but more importantly the message was exactly what I needed. I will be a regular.
As for my recovery... no pain, sleeping on my stomach a lil bit now (kinda feels weird), ate some shrimp egg foo young (craving), no vomiting, clothes are very loose and pants sagging.
I will be starting week 4 this week. I pray for a better week than the last few. It's been rough (physically and emotionally). I'm thankful for more energy each day and keeping food down!
I will post again on Wednesday. I have my 1 month doctor visit that includes lab work and my postop nutrition visit (uh-oh). Stay tuned for my new stats!
